The Conduit HD Android Game Review
One of the
best first person shooter games over at the Wii platform has just made its way
to the Android system. The Conduit HD is a port of High Voltage Software’s
Wii-exclusive game and is now redesigned for touch based controls as well as
having improved HD graphics. It is also optimized for NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core
devices.
The Conduit
HD can now be downloaded over at Google Play for free. While it may
be free it only applies to the first two levels after which you will have to
pay $4.99 for the full game or $2.99 for each half of the game. You will need a
device running on at least Android 2.3 as well as a storage space of 849 MB.
According to Kerry Ganofsky, High Voltage CEO and Founder, “Our goal with
The Conduit was to bring a hardcore game experience to a ‘casual’ market. I
believe we’ve reached that goal again with The Conduit HD.”
The game
which was first released in 2009 for the Wii platform has not shown any signs
of aging at all since the developers tweaked it to look even better than its
console version.
The game
starts out in Washington D.C. where an alien invasion is occurring. You get to
play the character of a Secret Service agent named Michael Ford who is
recruited by a mysterious organization called The Trust. You will be provided
with all the high tech weaponry to face off against the aliens.
Some of the
game features include
Stunning
graphics
Terrifying
enemies
Shadowy
conspiracies
Intense
weapons
Unseen
dangers
Unparalleled
customization
Controller
support
Top voice
talent
Killer tunes
The graphics
of this game is top notch. It even looks better if your device is based on the
NVIDIA Tegra 3 platform. You can easily customize the controls in the game and
can even use a Bluetooth controller.
The mobile
version of this title is definitely superior to its console version. The price
alone which is only $4.99 for the full game is much lower than the $50 price
tag of the console version 4 years ago.
If you are
looking for an action packed first person shooter game and have a high end
device then you might want to check this title out.
